Rivet is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data or monitoring information to our servers. Your data stays between your device and your Uptime Kuma instance.

Data We Don't Collect

• We do not collect your Uptime Kuma server URLs or credentials
• We do not collect information about your monitors, services, or uptime data
• We do not collect analytics or usage data
• We do not use third-party tracking or advertising services

Local Storage

Rivet stores your connection settings (server URL, username, and authentication tokens) locally on your device using iOS Keychain for secure storage. This data never leaves your device except when making direct connections to your own Uptime Kuma instance.

Network Communication

The app communicates directly with your Uptime Kuma instance using secure WebSocket connections. All communication occurs directly from your device to your server. We do not operate any proxy servers or intermediary services.

Third-Party Services

Rivet does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external communication is between your device and your Uptime Kuma instance, plus Apple Push Notification Service if you enable push notifications.

Data Security

Your credentials and authentication tokens are stored securely using iOS Keychain, which provides hardware-backed encryption. We recommend using HTTPS for your Uptime Kuma instance to ensure all communication is encrypted in transit.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
